That's where I sent my 200 head. To be honest I noticed no difference from before. Probably too late to have it modified again.

Send them to me, if you give me your squish clearance and measure your compresion ratio I'll happily machine them.

I don't have a baseline since I bought my '08 and promptly ripped it apart - but I finally got my first ride in on Saturday. Had RB do the head and full carb treatment. 40 miles with a big smile on my face. Didn't have to touch anything, she runs perfect and screams.

In regards to the Carb mod.
What exactly is it that he does to the carb?

I didn't want to start another squish band thread, so I'll ask my questions here.

I haven't had the head off my ec200 yet but I wanted to ask about the recessed-head-into-cylinder setup on these things. Specifically, if you're having someone machine the mating surface of the head to bring the squish tolerance a bit tighter, does the size of the bore come into play?

Also, what would the optimum squish measurement be?
