Ive read a few different posts, but still a little unclear. What size are my rear wheel bearings on my 2012 300 EC? 2 x 6004 and 1 x 6005 ?

Thanks

If its the same hub as the 2011 and earlier models, then yes! Correcto!

Sure way to know is to press the old ones out, and read them.

So what are they, anyone know yet? I see All Balls has some but the date says to 2011...are 2012's that different?

I got the All Balls site to finally load:
http://www.allballsracing.com/25-1458.html

Application
Whl Brg - Seal Kit - Rear Gas-Gas EC125 03-11, EC200 03-11, EC250 03-13, EC250 4T 10-12, EC300 03-13, EC450FSE 03-06, EC450FSR 07-09, MC125 03-09, MC250 03-09, MC450FSR 07, PAMPERA 450 07, SM125 03-09, SM250 03-05, SM450FSE 04-05, SM450FSR 07-09

I have not had good experiences with the All Balls bearings. Just my 2 cents..

Well I ordered them total was $37 for front and rear with seals (I got them through Amazon sellers). I do videos so if they suck I guess they will be told that on YouTube to a lot of people...LOL

I like the Clutch Cable I got for the XR650R, very well built. What would you recommend then for bearings for the Gas Gas?

I have had good luck with koyo and skf. Longer life anyway, which is all you can ask for a bearing.

I always source bearings from the local store. Any quality industrial brand should do the trick.

Looked at SKF but had no idea what size bearings or anything I would need not to mention what seals. I guess I'll stick to the All Balls unless someone knows what part numbers to get from SKF for seals and bearings...wouldn't mind doing a video of them comparing the two brands.

Yeah I have heard of people going to local shops and matching up industrial bearings to their needs...my father used to do that for RollerBlades.

I just don't know enough about motorcycle bearings to match stuff up.

Not sure if this fits a 2012 Gas Gas EC300 but did find a post with some information (I'm guessing I need to finally buy a caliper to take measurements)

Rear Wheel -
Seals 1 of each (mm) - 32x47x7, 25x42x7
Bearings - 6004-2RD x 2, 6005-2RD x 1

Front Wheel -
Seals (mm) - 30x42x7 x 2
Bearings - 6905-2RD x 2

So the Part's list on GoFasters.com is WRONG

These fit my bike and I suspect they would fit a EC300 2014 and 2015 also and of course a 2013 as All Balls says they will.
1 - 6005-2RDQE6 (25mm ID, 47mm OD, 12mm W)
2 - 6004-2RSH (20mm ID, 42mm OD, 12mm W)

Seals:
1 - 32mm ID, 47mm OD, 6mm W
1 - 25mm ID, 42mm OD, 7mm W

These are KML Brand Bearings:
www.kml-bearing.com

OEM Brand: SKF

Now that I am learning bearings, I see there are better choices out there even from SKF if you start searching on the size you may need. Our stock bearings roll at 11,000 rotations per minute you can get them that will do 24,000 r/min. Yep I'll be checking out better options the next go around because I now have numbers I can trust and what fits or doesn't fit. I hope this truly helps my fellow Gas Gas riders and all riders.
