hi all.......just installed rekluse and experienced some slippage.....put in the tall spring and 40 thou gap but clutch was slipping...adjusted gap to 30 thou and changed to small spring and 1 washer...this is the lowest setting for engagement but am still getting slip...if i bring revs on slowly it flares...if i snap it its ok...has anyone gone to 10 tungsten balls?(i currently use 5) and is this a 2st thing as i never had this problem with 4strokes..thanks..russ

You are going in the right direction. However, for best performance, go with the 10 Tungsten Carbide balls. It firms up the low RPM engage.

The best oil to run with the Rekluse is Rotella 15W-40.

Even with all this, low RPM engagement under heavy load (starting on a hill) can result in some heavy slip and squeal. Using the clutch lever override to bring up the RPMs will help reduce the squeal.
