rekluse build

I have read a few topics on this deal of putting the rekluse exp disc from a crf450 into the 2 stroke gassers. I read where guys have ran honda plates, gasgas plates, honda plates with rekluse steels, honda plates with honda steels, etc..etc.. So for anyone who has done this what is the best method, is there any combo that allows you to get 6 fibers in instead of the 5 fibers when using the gasser parts?
thanks

I am doing exactly that!

Hey wire,

I am running the Rekluse clutch basket and Honda CR450F plates in my bike ('14 XC300R).

This was my first bike with a Rekluse - when it showed up on my doorstep it was set up way too soft for my liking. I went on a hunt to set it up so that it is just as if I never had a Rekluse, but it's there in the snotty stuff. On the hunt to make this happen, I got hooked up with Richard at House of Horsepower. He told to me to call Rekluse and ask for the HoH package, which consisted of the above mentioned parts, heavy wedges, and different springs.
I love the setup now - it acts exactly like I want it to.

I was told that the Honda plates are a bit thicker so they last longer. I do remember having to take something out - a plate? Due to them being thicker I could not run the same number.

The guys at HoH would know, as would Rekluse I'd think.

I tried, but couldn't get enough fibers and discs. I was getting burning on the discs from the increased heat and friction. It seemed to work fine for a little while... I think there is another guy who has used his longer. I remember him saying he had no issues with his. I wonder what his long term results are.

I tried cutting a thicker gasket, combination of honda and gasser clutch parts and made spacers to get the right gap. I couldn't get the cover on or keep all the discs in the basket when adding the extra fiber.

I ended up upgrading to the full kit with new basket and larger cover.
