Is it true? I just checked the Rekluse website and they now list the exp for '03 - '11 Gasgas 250/300. $399

Hmm. Not to bad a price, may need to save my nickles and dimes. I cant imagine making my 300 easier to ride, but it sure would be fun!

Having a Rekluse is like cheating!

At that price, if I wire money over, can you forward as a gift???

399? How does that differ to my core exp at twice the bob, thankfully Clay hooked me up with a demo unit so I didnt pay retail. It had about 10 hours on it.

What is the difference in the two units?

They only make the Core EXP for the GG but they have a new version that is only the outer ring rather than the whole assembly. That is the one that costs $399. I used Pro Start Z's on my last bikes and I like the EXP much better. It engagaes quicker than the Pro and feels more like a stock clutch that you can't stall. Very cool.

Lost

I tried looking on the rekluse site ,I couldnt find it Ive been checking every once in a while.
Tried tonight didnt see it.
Where are they hiding it?
Thanks

Me too!??

I called and asked a couple of weeks ago. The CS person said if there was enough interest/inquireries they would repackage for just an EXP.

Crap! My bad. I searched for gasgas in the Rekluse search engine and what popped up looked like the exp for the gasgas '03 - '11. But, upon further review, it is for the KTM:mad:

I apologize for getting hopes up. I will shoot Rekluse an email and let them know I am in if they make one for us.

Clay, just a side note. If there would be enough interest from this site, would they consider a discount? I've seen that on other sites. Not that a small % off matters that much, just curious. I would be totally willing to fork out the $399 to give it a go. $899 is just too much to justify.

Revloc would be my next choice, but I've heard mixed reviews.

Im in for 399

I think if everyone who was serious got together maybe it would have some influence. 400 bucks ill try it 900s too much for me.
Maybe start a who would buy thread.
I think there are more than a few of us just waiting?
Clay have you spoken to anybody over there about this? Is it a possibility or
not enough interest. Any interest in the european market?
I want to cheat too but I'm too cheap & poor to cheat for 900

"Group buy?" heck yeah, doubt GG owners have the #'s to warrant it. However, those interested in the $399 exp and not the $899 core exp should contact Rekluse and express interest.

PS: rekluse told me world wide GG calls are way up in the last year.

I would just like something that acts like a normal clutch that won't stall.

That is exactly how the Core EXP works. We were doing demo rides last fall at the Loretta Lynn Trail Ride and we just quit telling riders that one of the bikes had an EXP in it. You really can't tell.
Also, I will check with Rekluse and ask when they will have the $399 version for the GG and if they would consider a discount for you guys.

i am pretty sure i saw it on there also.....

Isn't the core exp the $899.00 one . What will the $399.00 one be ?

As I understand it (and my understanding certainly could be flawed) the Core EXP ($899 version) has a Rekluse center clutch and pressure plate and friction plate. The $399 EXP has only the pressure plate and friction plate. I think that the EXP center clutch would be costly to build and leaving it out would lower the price considerably. Please don't ask me how the less expensive one works without the center clutch. I'm a salesman....not a technician. Unfortunately I was just told that Rekluse does not have the $399 version yet for the Gassers.
I have tons of trust in the Rekluse people. The company is full of riders/racers who use the product on a weekly basis (kind of like GGOR). I have used their stuff since 2004 and I love it. If you told me that I could only have one mod to my bike, the Rekluse would be it.
