Seems to have a fairly high flash point

Thanks for reply, i am using also ipone Samourai and Motul 800 they have much higher flash point than Repsol. They are at about 250 . And it seems repsol is not %100 Synthetic.

Motul and Ipone are too expensive here so repsol can be a good alternative.

What is your opions about Repsol oil.

I should point out to start with that I don't have a clue about oil technology:o, it seems like one of those issues that everyone has an opinion about.

The riding i do is fairly technical with hills and the like, and very few sections where you're flat out for long periods. In my limited experience the higher flash point oil I've used the more crap i have oozing out of the silencer, powervalve cover etc. The Castrol TTS i use has a flash point of 76?c . It works for me but everyone has different conditions so........

And it's reasonably priced where i live too...

Penrite MC 2ST "Full Syc" is $29 a ltr....Repsol Off Road "semi syc" is $24 a ltr.

In Australia.

Full Syc -

Repsol Moto Comp - $25

Amsoil Dominator fully synth can be had for $25 a litre too (well just shy of a litre).

+1 on amsoil! i love amsoil so much i became a dealer! i use it in everything from my diesel to gas trucks to all bikes.

Glad to see your post isn't bias then.
Never had much to do with Amsoil as no one seems to stock it here. I have heard a lot of good things about the brand though. Maybe should become a dealer also.

I've considered becoming a dealer, but don't imagine it would be as easy as it is over there. Namely transporting it into the country, and then the postage costs around the country. I may look into it some more.

For sourcing it within Australia there are a couple sources. Best bet is to contact one and have it shipped to your door.
