Thinking of putting a dyna ring in my 06 GG 300.Has anyone tried one? Had a re
kluse in my 01 ktm 300 but found it a bit sluggish. What do you guys think?
The price is a lot better.

the newer Core EXP Rekluse is awesome. just like a stock clutch but no stalls and instant power.

Good question Dave. I was thinking about one for my 2010 GG 300. I also like the price but know nothing about the Revlock. So anybody running one?

I talked to a dealer who had a Dynaring in his 2011 GG. He wasn't happy with it.
The Rekluse EXP is really, really good.

I agree, the EXP is an awesome product! You must have had the original z-start in your '01 KTM. No comparison to the Core EXP at all. The guys at Rekluse definitely have their stuff together.

I have not run the exp yet but I did have the Pro in my 125 and 300 KTM's. They worked great IMO and I am friends with some guys at Rekluse who do the testing etc on the new systems they have developed. The exp is supposed to be pretty awesome.....I had no major complaints about my Pro.

let me start by saying... the guys at revloc are great.. very helpful.. but i tried an install on a dyna ring on my 01 and could never get it to work right.. we tried everything and i even pulled the complete cutch off and sent it to them, but to no avail... never could get it to release manually.. it worked ok as an auto, but not manual.. when i finally gave up and put my oe back in, the bearing behind the pp was packed full of clutch material, so i was burning it up...
alan at revloc told me installed one there in his shop and got it to work, but it was some changing we did not try on mine.. He gave me a full refund, told me if i wanted to try again, i could bring the bike to him, and have it put in there, kinda tempting..
i have heard rekluse is now doing the equivelent to the trail for the gas gas, but have not started there either..
I will tell you , a 300 gg with that clutch working properly would be awesome i think, but i never could get mine to work... 2 months on a 15 minute install and i was done...

I never had any problems with the older Rekluse but I have to say the EXP is even better. The engagement is quicker and the whole "feel" of the clutch is more like a traditional clutch. We were doing some demos last fall at a trail ride at Loretta Lynn's ranch and we had a 300 with an EXP. If you didn't tell a rider it had an auto clutch he would never know. It's more like a traditional clutch with an anti stall feature. I'm one of those wierdos that uses a hand rear brake so I don't have a clutch lever either. I don't miss it on the GG300 at all. I can lift the front end over anything I want. The install is easier on the EXP. I realize they are more money but yhey can be moved from bike to bike. I had a Pro Start Z that was in prolly 6 different Husabergs.

I had the z-start pro on my KLX450 and loved it!- I cannot wait to get the EXP on my new 300- but gotta save my pennies for that one since i just got the new bike (I think my husband wants some more farkles for his bike - or some nonsense like that). I love reading the feedback from everyone who is using these clutches, all info pro or against is helpfull.

I recently put a Dyna Ring in my 09 EC300. It worked great at first, then I started having some issues. I think I've solved the problem though, so if that's the case and I'm back to normal operation, then I'd say 'yes', go for the dyna ring. I can give you details if you're interested.
