SG10 boots - how to fix a pressure point?

I bought a used pair of SG10 boots in good condition.

The boots have a pressure point on the inside of leg about 4 inches above my ankle. The pressure point is caused by an inward buckle of the leather where the boot flexes.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

They may soften up some once broken in. Soak them in some water and go ride?? Both legs or just one side?

Both sides have the same pressure point.

Since they are used & fully broken in, it looks tough to reform the way the leather has buckled in toward my leg.

However, I will try wetting and clamping to force the buckle the opposite way.

Shaving cream works also. Fill the boot up and let it sit for a few hours.

You can also stick an inner tube in the boot and inflate it to "spread" the pressure point outwards.

1965 first nite marine corp boot camp 3 hrs beating the crap out of each doot with the other it worked! good luck

Hit a hidden treestump with my Gaerne fastbacks at our last enduro last fall. The impact broke the buckle and the plate it fastened too. Ordered new buckle and made a new plate with more surface area. I wonder if you could do same, maybe a larger surface area would fix the pinch point?
