Shift lever won't stay on.

The last two rides my gear shift lever keeps coming off nothing seems stripped or broken. Anybody had this prob and got fixed ? Thanks, Rob

Looks fine to me, other then excess oil.

run a hack saw throught the slot that the bolt pulls up so that you can get more clamping pressure , this'll work for a while but you may have to replace it

Clean it all up. Use some blue loctite on the threads. Snug it up well. Install the circlip which acts as a backup in the event that the bolt backs out.

What he said, but one of those super thin grinder cutting discs will be a bit quicker and neater.

Yep make sure you have the circlip on
