shortening the silencer on the 300 replica

I was wondering on my 300 factory replica 2014 that cutting the silencer 10 cm off will give it more snap . I did it on my Ktm 250 exc and it works.before cutting i was thinking may be somebody else did it..

Yer my mate over here in NZ did his, it does make a difference
He keeps trying to get me to do mine but it's got enough to scare me when it gets angry as it is
