If you wanted to try it while riding but not be hard on your engine, ride up to third gear on dirt, then pull your clutch in and downshift to first, let your clutch out slowly, if your rpm's start to rise into very high revs then immediately pull your clutch in, you have a normal clutch. If when you slowly let your clutch out and your rpm's don't go above mid range then it's a slipper clutch. In that case you can be in third gear, pull in your clutch, downshift to first and just dump the clutch out. The rpm's won't go above mid range. It's exceptionally fun when your approaching a slow turn and dump the clutch in a low gear, no high revs or wheel hop, just dive in and punch it.
