Beautiful area. Did some Mt biking in Squamish on our way to Whistler yrs ago. Very long downhill shuttle run with awesome trails.

Was born and lived there for 20+ years, I still try to make it out there in the winter to get some riding in.
Where was the race? Cat Lake area?

Yes that was at Cat Lake area!

Squamish is such a great track. Real challenging,never any dust and a really nice bunch of folks who put it on. I lived there in the 80's when I was an avid rock climber. One of my favorite places to recreate,I manage to get there about half a dozen times a year or so.

I'll have to do a quick Google maps search on where that it, haven't heard of it...but sounds like a great place to visit in the PNW.
