struggling with wheel bearing change

im quite happy with changing bearings but im really struggling with the front.

The problem is I cant seem to get the axle tube to move to allow me access to knock the bearings out. Anyone got any tips that might help. Ive used various tools to try and get it to move across. It moves a very small amount but not enough for my punch to sit properly on the bearing

no tricks that i know of, just a sharp edge on the punch and keep trying to move the bearing with taps. eventually it will move enough to free up the tube

typically. After I posted that I went back in the garage and managed to get them out. Like you say it just needed a bit of patiench to get on the bearings and once i did it was simple!

Ok here is a video of all the wheel bearing removal and install "secrets" Iv been using for years.

At 1.50 is how to move the spacer if you only heat one side at a time they will almost fallout.

I use a kit that has inserts with a "v" groove. Pop it in bearing
Then use the wedge to expand insert against inner of bearing
(Using universal tool)
And out they pop
