subframe and body work upgrade

As a newbie to GGRC, I have loads of questions as I go upgrading the EC200 I own. My thoughts have turned to replacing the subframe and plastics etc from 2002 to 2012. So far I have seen its all straight forward which is excellent, but I have a technical question....

Does the new subframe and seat give the same riding position? Is it taller or shorter? Are the ergonomics the same?

thanks in advance

12' subframe and plastics will not fit on older models. You could get a front fender to fit, but that would be all. Unless you are speaking of the 12' 4T models in Europe that used the 11' frame?

Newbie typo....I actually meant 2010-11.
With a 2010 upgrade kit, does it change the ergonomics in any way?

I'm thinking of going for the Suomi kit with black plastics. ....has anyone else done this combination? :)

It makes the seat flatter. but as far as ergo's not so much. I did the Mexican six days with black plastics. Turned out really nice and unique. The front fender in black from a 2011 Honda CRF450 will fit.

I've just done the Suomi kit on white on my 250 will get some snaps later for you, I love the blue.

I collected all the parts over time a few yrs ago when I converted to 2010, so this was just a plastics upgrade, already had the subframe, air box and seat, you can buy a kit that will do it all in one go, if you do a search there are plenty of threads on it.

done some research, and I have started to look for parts already.
I don't mind buying 'the kit' but if I can source the parts I hope it may end up being cheaper and end up with a black Suomi! The white Suomi also looks awesome!

There is an awful lot of white in the Suomi graphics thats why I went with the white plastics, as thought about the black plastics.
