You can use the old trick of adding a pair of handlebar top clamps to move the bars about 3/4 inch higher. Take the top clamps off your bars, turn them up side down, reinstall your bars and add the new top clamps with longer bolts.
I've been running the trail tech bars for three years now. I like them as they have the least amount of sweep allowing you to roll them forward with out kinking your wrist.
