Hey guys,
I'm beginning to think i foolishly snapped up a set of Excel rims and Talon hubs plus a Braking 320mm disc for around 300pounds.
Problem is, there for a 2004 Honda CRF450. And i want them on the 2001 EC 300 that i have.
Im just trying to work out my options,
I have the old set of enduro wheels with the AJP hubs and stock discs.
I thought about getting a wheel builder to lace up the AJP hubs to the Excel rims, but my spoke supplier said GasGas use a vice versa valve hole pattern which is uncommon and wont fit?
Another option would be to unlace the honda hubs, and sell them along with the disc, purchase GasGas talon hubs and go that route, which will rack up the price tag, along with a new disc, bracket and spacers...
Other idea i had, i tried the front honda wheel setup on the GasGas, the spindle is the right size, it would just be a case of making up some spacers and working out how many washers i need to sort the disc alignment... Would this be safe?
Thanks guys
