The Hits Just Keep Coming - Cycle News Review

Not wrong Steve. That article felt like someone giving gas gas a reach around! Good times! You can't complain when they only real gripes are all being addressed for 2013 as well. I can only see it gaining even more credit. A manufacturer who actually addresses the issues!

The only complaint that will not be eventually addressed on the '13 is the oil filler hole. Later '13s will even have a different side stand bracket that can be changed to disable the self retracting feature.

I wish y'all would just quit this stuff....you makin' me think my '11 is obsolete....my wife is gonna be pissed!

what's it take a whole 'nother minute to pour the oil in while changing. I still use the same funnel that I use on the kid's Hondas. No big deal

Nice to see the major mags are giving credit. Good job Clay!

Don't worry. They (wives) get over it after a while. If there's no communication after about a week and a half you might buy flowers or something.:D

I didn't think the review was bad at all. Most reviews point on the negatives on a bike. It seems like overall they felt it was great bike.

As for the wife part...I just went through it picking up my new to me EC250. Two days later she was talking again. :D

There is a guy in my friends club who says "I never met a man who's wife didn't hate me." Another guy would hide a new bike in plain sight for awhile by putting old plastic on it.

All i say is , would you rather me go to the pub (bar) instead darling , works a treat for me:D

The first one applies to me also...the second may just work for me!;)

You blokes! Mine would rather me have this spanish girlfriend than another. At least she knows what I'm up to when I'm gettin dirty in the shed. A 2013 sounds appealing but think I'll hold out to 2014. If Beta steps up with some a solid 2T range I could easily add one of them to the collection too. Arhhh! Same goes for Sherco.

Mark Berg and I visited the Sherco factory last month and I was impressed. We got to ride a pre-production 250 2T. It was pretty strong. It has an electronic power valve and it is the first 2T designed to incorporate an e start design in the cases, not added on to the engine. Their 300 4T was pretty impressive, too. It has a 6 speed gear box which worked really well. There is a pretty good chance that we will import Sherco, too.

Sweet Clay.

My local dealer deals with GG and Sherco. I've thrown my leg over his 2011 300 4T and strapped it around the block. Felt a bit weak on the street but I'm sure it'd go well in the scrub. Very linear and loved to rev.
