i just bought one of these, it is a 1/2 electric impact driver MH18 Fuel. it has two settings. setting one is limited to 100 footpounds and setting two is supposed to be 700 footpounds but is probably closer to 950 foot pounds. it is really an incredible piece of equipment. i was replacing the bearing/hub assemblies on my Nissan Frontier 4wd crewcab and I had an axle nut that would not budge. i was using a 1/2 breaker bar and a 33mm socket and the nut would not move at all. I was at the point of snaping the breaker bar without any movement at all so I went and bought the MH18. I was skeptical, I didn't think any electric impact would have more power than a breaker bar.I was really wrong. I put the socket on the impact driver and stuck it on the axle using setting two. I was a little hesitant, then I hit the button, in two seconds the impact driver pulled the axle nut off like there was no resistance at all, it was just incredible. I bought this impact driver, a slide hammer and 3/4 inch drive 40 inch long breaker bar with 3/4 sockets. The 3/4 breaker bar is much more powerful than a 1/2 breaker bar.

I teach a class on pump repair a few times a year and one of the things I see guys do wrong is pull on stuck nuts . I always shock / hit it hard to loosen it not pull hard on it .

John I bought 2 from Harbor Frieght 8 months ago . Warrenty is 6 months I know 1 of the pistons is not working no warrenty . I would not recommend them if you will be using it much .

If it is dirtbikes that you are using it for buy the one Jeff likes . I have 2 of them also and they get used the most .

Handy makes great lifts.
I have an older Harbor Freight (different than the ones shown) air.
And a Snap On Electric/hydraulic.

just lifting my gaser, i did not think of HF. J&P cycle?? The Handy sport with clamp is what im looking at ,but the shipping is killer. The smaller lift looks nice and not as shop consuming, how about stability?
