I have a set of Ohlins TTX suspension for sale. The fork cartridges are for the Sachs 48mm forks. They have been re-valved by Ohlins USA.

The shock has also been re-valved by Ohlins USA but had a couple adjustments made by Pro-Action.

They only have a few rides since the last rebuild with fresh oil and seals. They were new in April or May.

$2000 or best offer for both with NO springs.

i recently installed ttx cartridges and shock on my 2010 300, and all i can say is:

this is the best suspension i have ever had the good fortune to ride, bar none.

i've had a lot of bikes over the years, and have sent almost everything away at some point or another for revalving. sometimes i have had to do that a couple times for certain suspensions. meanwhile, the stock suspension on my 2010, sachs front and rear, i had determined to be "livable." a bit spiky in the middle on the forks, a bit choppy in the rear, or else a bit too mushy, but still something i could ride around. i'm a middlin' to quick b rider in the woods, and i suck on the track and tend to avoid big jumps. so generally i am looking for something that eats up trail garbage, but still stays firm and planted when speed gets up in open terrain whoops. that is usually not as easy to get sorted as it might sound.

got used bits from a very fast rider, bolted in place, set sag, left the clickers all somewhere in the middle as sent to me.

holy shit, this is good stuff! everything, from small rock and root trail garbage to 4th gear g-outs, just goes away. plush on throttle, plush off throttle, but still firm and planted and not a hint of wallow. it is, as the guy who sent me the parts said "like riding on a magic golden cloud."

i always used to think it was hype.

no more. this is mighty good stuff. expensive, but worth every penny...

Do these use the stock Sacks fork springs and the spring from the 888 Ohlins shock?

I am starting to look for some Sachs forks to slip these cartridges into. If I have success, I think we will have a deal. Feel free to step in if anyone has a Sachs sitting aroind, longing for a better life.p

The forks springs that the TTX use are the same as KYB springs and as far as i know on the shock you have to use a TTX specific spring. I know the 888 spring wont work, it also may take a KYB spring but ive never tried. Ill see what i can do about measuring them up.

Im sure KYB springs can be found for quite a bit cheaper than Ohlins springs.

I have springs that i can sell also but most likely they are WAY to stiff for most.




Im not willing to split the set up yet. When i get desperate to sell then maybe i will.

Just curios what you think to stiff for most is? and what you think normal spring rate should be for the ttx

The normal Spring rate is determined by several factors. These include riders weight, type of riding, type of valving in the suspension, slill level, and personal preference. I personally run a soft valving with stiff springs on top of the fact that im not exactly built like a jockey.

My setup had .50kg fork springs and a 6.2kg shock.

I also like it that way. I have 48's in mine and they fell good. I had a set of 44's and that felt to soft. Never tried 46's but for now i'll run the 48's
