Unabiker Radiator Guards for 2010 and Up

I just wanted to let you folks know that I had the chance to help a riding partner install a set of Unabiker Rad Guards on his 2010 300. These are the new design that were anodized black. He picked these guards as some of the better looking designs and the 5 support poles on each side (3 front, 2 rear). The product was priced very competitively, packaged really nicely (pictured) and installed pretty easily after the removal of the gas tank. Overall fit is excellent, the directions were pretty good, the hardware excellent, they look pretty darn nice, and once finished seemed extremely strong for all of the bashing I could give with a fist and a knee! These are, by far, the nicest/strongest/best looking rad guards I've seen in person! Take a look at the pics and feel free to ask any questions!

We've been running UNABIKER guards for years, first on our Hondas and now on our GG. I've never had to replace a radiator since.

So it looks like you can't use the stock rad shrouds if you wanted that option vs. the using the Unibiker front grates?

If you really need the louvers there are other rad frame options. I don't know about you guys but frontal protection is a must. Tight sections in south NJ enduros are littered with plastic louvers, and GGs have no overheating problems. What is the thickness of the alloy in these. One thing I do not like in any guard/brace is retaining the shroud mount(s) to the radiator tabs, which are very weak, and tend to collapse the first row of fins when bent.

MCNUT: It was your post a while back that prompted him to go the Unabiker direction. Thanks! I got a set for my old bike and a set in case I get a newer one.

Glenn: We thought about your concern with the shroud mounts but decided it was a small risk for us and many of the guards have the same issues. Things are not as tight out here as they are in ECEA-land and the biggest issue we have is a bike tumbling down the side of a hill taking big hits to the front and side...

Nice looking guards. I could add the GP braces I designed years ago and it would be a stout setup. Since I have been running those top and bottom with an added upper shroud mount bolt I have never peeled back a shroud.

I have been using Unabiker guards on my bikes for a while now. He even used my Husaberg to design that line. Top notch product and I consider them a must have now.
