Uprated Footpegs?

To me they are like a steering damper. I bought mine used (great shape) to try and see if it was a gimmick. Turned out I love them and now have to have them on any bike from now on. Hard to describe, just makes standing control eaiser for me, and no shifter/brake issues even with bulky boots.
Maintanence can be done with the main part (post) still on the bike. A 17mm nyloc nut holds the peg part on and comes off easy.

It's really hard to remember you even have them on your bike. Until you ride a bike that does not have them.
Like Glen I have them on my 300 and 510.
When you first install pack them with lots of grease and assemble carefully. I have not had any problems.
When I'm on my Trials I do miss them. Hmmm I should see how much work it would be to put a set on it too.

The Moose pegs are way too sharp. I think I could shave with them. While putting them on I had visons of falling on one and bleeding to death. I ground them down so they're not so lethal.

Moose must sell more than one model of pegs because mine are not sharp at all.

They do. They have a Pro Series peg that they advertise as "Made for the aggressive rider" The pic of the teeth just scares me.

Then they have the Hybrid peg - "Dual plane teeth provide traction without the stuck feeling". They look fine, but both models have sharp looking teeth on the outside edge that could rip you up. Those I can see need a file job.

Got some Fastway pegs on the way from MainJet (Keg) - after the lower ride height option as I feel a bit cramped at the moment (6.1ft :o). Hope they do the job!

Hi EtienneNZ,
I have been following the thread, let me know what you think of them.

A friend has a set of pivot pegz on his bike. To cure the maintenance issues he was able to tap a grease nipple into each peg. Now he just gives them a hit with the grease gun and they're good to go. Seems like a great idea.

I have the hybrids on mine...a few passes on the bench grinder and they are great !!

I have the fastways on mine and find I need more grip. I have the one that are rounded on top. Also what is the deal with guys grinding them? Mine fit fine.

Your right peg will fold all the way in and not crash into the brake lever?

Some guys grind the flesh cutting teeth on some of the brands. The other grinding discussed is to totally clear the brake pedal me thinks.

Would there be any way to modify Pivotpegs to get them down and farther back like the Fastways?

If you swap the left and right mounts around the pegs are supposed to be lower by about 1/2" inch. This is what the importer told me a while back. Not sure if they move back any at the same time.
