Wanted : 45mm Marzocchis

That is a lot more involved than you think. Done incorrectly, you ruin the entire assembly.

I was under the impression the fork tube is threaded into the lug, sealed by a o ring. Then again I may be wrong.

Unfortunately I've been through this unsuccessfully, even working with a local machinist. Les warned me it could be a disaster. The lower tube is threaded in the foot, with loctite, and a has setscrew with a point that rolls a couple threads on the tube. That is the tricky part. This damaged thread area has to be precisely machined out with an end mill through the small hole and cleaned with a pick. Then the tube must be held secure, heat, and with some luck its off. Any thread distortion combined with the loctite makes a mess of the foot threads and its impossible to remove after a few turns.

I've never seen a GG Zoke foot separately anyway so you shouldn't have to sweat this option anyway.

Have a set off an 2005 300 EC. These were tuned by LTR, and have the stock 42 in them. Would like to get 150.00 + Shipping. We're are you from so that I can get you a cost.

Wow! That is a great deal...less than I paid to have mine revalved.

Hi JaysKTM,

The 45mm Marzocchis are conventional forks. Will your upside down forks fit my bike?

Best,

Richard
