I wasn't paying attention and opened the message but there was nothing in the dialog box so I deleted it. Am I still in the clear or do I have something to worry about.

I think when I deleted the user - the message gets blanked out for those who hadn't read it yet. Just click on the checkbox and select delete.

All the best,
GasGas Riders Club Forum

This virus carrying 'ho tried to penetrate my firewall, however, Trend's Micro PC Pro slapped her down like a two-dollar 'ho on fifty cent night.

In fact, when I logged on to GasGasRider.org, I received a pop-up to contact XladyRoot.

I'm reporting the link to Trend Micro.

Happy Trails,

TP

Hey TP,
I deleted the nasty link from your post - kinda like leaving a gun laying around.... If someone clicked on it and they didn't have good security - they could really be in for a world of hurt.

Hey webmaster,

Did everyone get spammed or was it something malicious and directed to specific individuals or members here?

Ron

It was indiscriminate - they tried to send it to everyone. But there is a limit of sending one private message per minute - to try to prevent such things. I noticed it after 120 or so users were sent messages, out of 1900+ active members.
