Water pump impeller cross over

I just replaced the seal bearing and shaft on my 2015 xc 300. My impeller has a crack in it (which I may have caused during removal). At any rate I need a new impeller. With today Monday and the fourth Tuesday I won't even Be able to order one until Wednesday.
Does the impeller cross over to a Japanese bike? Then I can order from Rocky Mountain and it would be in my hands Wednesday.

Go to checkpoint off road get an aluminum one better flow won't crack there great to work with

To answer your question - nothing crosses over.

The aluminum impeller was designed by LT-Racing (and copied by checkpoint) . Les at LT-Racing looked at the design of the vanes on a honda CR250 when making the impeller. It flows better than the stock impeller.

Buy the checkpoint one - it will both flow better and be more reliable.

Take note from other threads on here that to may need to modify the checkpoint impeller if it makes contact with the water pump housing

Order several water pump outlet gaskets, you may need 2 or 3 to get clearance over the impeller (or cut your own from heavy gasket stock).

I have a 2015 300 in a Christini AWD frame.
After reading all the threads about water pump problems I pulled mine to have a look and saw it was rubbing on the cover. I just filed the impeller down in a uniform fashion and gained all the clearance I needed without making the gasket thicker.
Bike runs cooler according to my Vapor digital dash.
Still plan on adding the aluminum impeller in the future.

Impeller arrived

I received the impeller from check point two days after ordering it. Sadly my local GasGas dealer hasn't even followed up since I inquired about a stock one last Saturday.
I should have checked the forum before installing it, Yikes! I guess I will open it up in the morning. I did have it running on the stand and then for minute on the street.
