My 06 300 was getting water in the tranny fluid last fall. I replaced the water pump seal over the winter and did one short ride (20_25 laps) at an indoor mx track in march and its still leaks. Just a bit but I wasn't on the bike for a long time either. I just pulled the pump cover off. There was a bit of oil left inside the housing so it seems this is the area of the problem. Other than the drop of oil nothing looked amiss in the housing area. It is obviously leaking though. I pulled out the new, now old seal again nothing really out of order but I did see more oil. Is there some kind of seal that goes on the casing side of the bearing?? How is the oil getting into the housing?? shouldn't it go the other way, water into the tranny?? I drained the oil and it was a bit milky but not crazy bad. When removing the pump cover screws the long one that goes into the middle casing came out wet, covered with rad fluid. Is that right?? grrr I want to ride!!!!!
