OK - spill the beans! Where were you? (out Oxford way??) and more importantly: private or public land.
Guessing private :(
If you ever get over to the west coast with the bikes there are some cool rides.

im guessing oxford too.typical canterbury, wind burnt hills, green flats, great views!good to see another 200 happy in the hills

Close team, my Cousins hill country farm in North Canterbury. We shoot up there a stay every few months. He's a petrol head too, so is always keeping an eye out for good hill climb runs.

That's awesome man, so cool to see you out riding with your boy and your brother! I'm really looking forward to the day when I can get out with my boys.

Looks like a great area to explore, have you developed trails to ride, or is it all free riding wherever you desire?

Thanks for posting the pics, cool to see another part of the riding globe

Must get down there to dirt sometime. Linton was supposed to give us a call out some years back on the next shop epic ride in some private land but never came to anything. One day.

Is that grenvilles ride in omihi?
If so i rode that too,the part where you get closest to the ocean is on our land.
I took my 9yr old around the junior loop which was challenging enough for him on the 80,then cut a full lap myself with all enduro deviations included.
Came across a pumpkin with a broken chain so finished my lap and put the gasser in the shed and headed out with the grizzly and tow rope.towed him about 8km to car park!time for a beer or three
Was pretty windy out there for a bit but a pretty nice 50km loop.bit of rain last week stuck the dust down a bit.sorry no footage,my data plan sucks

You are a good soul, nice one for towing the orange home. But, no, this was on my Cousins farm in Nth Canterbury a couple of days ago. Myself, my brother and my son usually go up every few weeks. Stay in the shearers quarters and tear around his 1500acres of hill.

Asked the bloke if hed been towed before,
"Yeah m8"
"Sweet,that helps"
"...once in my car!"
"Umm ok,youll get the hang of it quick"(i hope!)
Its 1 thing being towed down the road, quite something else out of a back gully that 300 bikes have chewed up over a couple laps each!
