Well, I took the plunge!

Thanks to the advice and friendly persuasion of my fellow Husky owner/racer, John01, I bought a 2011 WC 300 from Upstate Cycle in Greenville, SC yesterday!

I had ridden a friend's '07 EC 200 and '08 EC 300 a few years ago and immediately fell in love with the great ergos and handling of the GasGas bikes. I was hesitant to take the plunge due to limited distributor/dealer/aftermarket support, but that all changed when I began reading about the Stuckey brothers and their enthusiasm for the brand.

Looking forward to learning from and participating in the forum! :)

Welcome!

I wanted to buy your WR300 a while back but you just sold it. So I bought a Gas Gas 300...haven't looked back! Congrats, you made a great choice.

By Golly...its just like a home away from home over here :)

I would love to hear your first impressions of your new ride...

and seeing as how we are all snowed in up north here.....I never got enough time to get my jetting dialed in...so I look forward to your reports

happy trails

Well Krieg CONGRATS! So you skipped the slightly used 10 and went straight for the 11. Thats what I am talking about! You are gonna love the bike. Congrats again and I know you will do a proper ride report with pics. You will also find yourself spending some quality time on this site. LOL Rod.

Hey now I still have two Husky's. As a matter of fact I gave my 2010 EC300 to my son. I haven't even picked up my new GasGas yet LOL.:D

More

We need more folks with your kind of "gusto" !! Keep up the good work ! Mud report coming soon ? We say:Merry CHRIST mas !

Krieg,

Welcome aboard! There's quite a few Cafe Husky folks on this board. Husky and GG riders have more in common than just their rear sprockets. :)

The problem is we are raiding the wrong forum ... what we really need is to start seeing ktmtalk guys popping up over here. Lots more loot over there then cafe husky .....

LOL I have ridden two KTM's my son owned and we GasGas/Husky owners speak a different language. If we can get KTM riders to try a GasGas I'm sure we can convert some of them.

My brother in law is a long time KTM rider. He's been talking like his next scoot will be an EC 300. I know he likes my Gasser. Of course, I like his KTM 300. We have very similar styles, so our setup is nearly identical.
