what carb on my bike?

hi guys,
i was under the impression that i had a 36mm keihin AS1 carb on my gasser ec 200 (2001) is this so?
allso i wanted to know what were the 2 diameters of the carb in- and outlet.
(side of the engine and side of the air filter.
can't find it

then it would be a good move ,if i get myself a smartcarb or lectron, to go for a 36mm for more grunt bottom to mid?!

any way i can see a part number on that carb somewhere?

Black screw on top is AS I. There was no such thing as an AS II in '01. As far as I know ALL were 38mm, but you can measure the ID of the spigot end to be sure. External dimmensions are the same for 36 - 38mm.

Guys that have swapped 36mm to 200s have had good results.

black screw ontop it is, so probably i'll have a 38mm carb, since it all seems stock, had to change out the needle too to get it to run pretty clean.

i'll be looking out for a 36mm SC or Lectron then.

you can measure the ID of the spigot end to be sure.

I got 38.25mm for mine ('06 EC200, black screwtop carb), but did wonder if I should be measuring the ID closer to middle, nearer the main jet, where it looks to narrow to a constant diameter.
