What comes with the bike?

In a jetting thread I noticed a new owner state they got some jets with their bike. Mine didn't have any extra jets or needles. Are they taped on a radiator hose somewhere? LOL

Here's what I received:
Rubber protector block for handlebar mounts
Small glide plate for frame rails
Mode switch taped to the rad hose
GasGas fanny pack with service record book
CD with owners manual on it (no parts or engine manuals)
8-10-12mm Tee wrench
8-10mm and 12-13mm open end wrenches
Combo phillips/straight screwdriver
4, 5, 6mm allen keys
Needle nose pliers
2 thin plastic hanguards (bug deflectors?) with brackets
2 steering lock keys
1 zip tie

Everyone we have put together has a small plastic tube taped to the rear fender with one extra needle and several jets. Here is a list of the jets in the kit.
CHN needle
35, 38, 42 pilot jets
115?,172,175,178,180 main jets

Some 11s have been coming with a piece of paper taped to the bike saying that the jet kit is MIA and will be sent to the dealer when they become available.

Scotty is correct (that hurt to say that!). Many of the 2011s have been missing the jet kit. Mark at GF told me that prolly in a month or so we would get a box of missing parts and we would need to send them to dealers. I have been keeping a list of dealers who told me they were missing jet kits. Sorrry for the delay but thanks for buying a Gas gas!

Chances are he won't let you live it down either :D

The contents may be slightly different for 2011 with the solenoid equipped carb, but in 2010 the kit for the 300 included the following:

Mains - 180, 178, 175, 172, 115
Pilots - 42, 38, 35
Needle - CHN

What solenoid?

The one that isn't there

The 2011 carb uses the same body that the Yamaha and Kawasaki 250s with throttle position sensors did, but minus the electronics. I stand corrected :o

The 2010 carbs were the 'screw-on cap' style - this year the carb cap is not circular, is secured by two small screws, and incorporates a sprung slide return arm.

John01 - some of the late 2010s had the same type of Keihin carb.

I thought everyone would get a laugh from that. It was in the top pocket of the fanny pack. I'll trade you for it when the jet kit arrives.
