What forks are these?

So I've been around the horn here trying to research these. What forks are these. 50mm. 1999 EC250.

One leg does compression and the other does rebound.

WP or marzoochi?

Those are marzoochi I just went and measured my 99 EC 200 and it has 45's on it get a micrometer and measure the tube just below the triple clamp to find the size.

Well the skf seals for marzoochi don't fit. I know how to measure and they're 50mm not 45mm. If I look at pictures of the clamps they look like the WP.

The top clamp is different than my 200. Do you still have the old seals? If so measure them and you know what to get ID,OD, height

The forks look just like the ones on my 200

So then could my bike be a six days model? There are no special decals etc. what other differences are there with the six days model?

Not sure. Maybe an mc head for higher compression and the lighter ignition. Might not have counterbalancer for faster acceleration.

.Jim cook might have more details that he can recall.

Here is a picture of the 50mm Marzocchi Magnums on my '98 EC250.

See if they match yours for the lowers.
Mine also has the Compression in one fork and rebound in the other.
Mine have a blue knob to adjust the comp / rebound at the top of the fork.

Hard to see under the bars.... sorry. No better picture.
I believe the bar risers and top clamp are not stock. These are made
to fit a Scotts steering damper.
Hope that helps. If yours are Marzocchi, I may have a spare set of seals.
One thing I have been told about the Marzocchis is if the teflon bushings
are worn the forks tend to have seal leaks. I changed my seals and within
a 100 miles they were leaking again. One thing I need to fix before I
can ride it again.
Cheers, Jeff

Who is Jim Cook? I'd like to pick his brain about the six days version.

Looking at the photos above and my suspension guy they are WP's.

have you ever sorted out your forks? I just purchased an ec300 and it has conventional forks with the blue clicker knobs on top of each fork...just need to know the oil level or amount of oil required . Thanks
