what parts to start stocking up with

I want to see them stay afloat too. If they do go under I wonder if a competing trials company like Sherco would buy them?

Has anybody sourced specific 2015 model parts with second source suppliers? I mean are there limited to 2015 parts that aftermarket producers for whatever reason might not supply?

Offtopic: on another thread, somebody actually mentioned that Sherco visited Girona factory, so fingers crossed (no official data on the matter tough, might be just a rumor so take with a grain of salt).

It might be a good idea to start stocking up on things. The CDN GG Dist was telling a friend of mine that although the factory is still shipping parts to Distributors, the majority of the parts he ordered a few weeks ago were not in stock at the factory. Until this liquidation is sorted out, there is no way that the factory can reorder parts from their suppliers.

Canadian distributor is already out of a GG specific part I need, and is unable to order any because the factory has none left. It was recommended I call around dealers (mostly former dealers since late 2013) to see what, if anything, is still on their shelves. Or get a hold of GoFaster$ and suck up the exchange and shipping premiums while they still have stock. So I'm not saying the sky is falling, but it seems I'm already effected with GasGas going titters. BTW my bike is a 2013.

So, what is it that you need?

No ring gears in the US

As is common with our bikes, I have stripped some teeth off of my ring gear.

I have been told that there are NO ring gears in the US and that they are on backorder.

For me personally, this is extremely worrisome. GG was my first foray into an exotic brand, and while I love this bike and have learned more tinkering on it than any other bike, I am not going to go fabricate parts and things like that.

I am starting to be on the fence on whether to keep investing in this machine.

If GasGas doesn't survive or is phased out buy a buyer I wouldn't be surprised if either a supplier or aftermarket company starts putting out some of the higher wear products we all need or will need. Seems like a number of people have issues with the ring gear. Is that the same part across all the electric start two-strokes?

Another option is to buy good used parts as many GG riders part out their bikes.

Seems Motorcrosscenter is showing zero parts available? At least looks this way to me. Hope I'm wrong.

Yes, I am happy to say I was incorrect. Just stocking up now.
