Hi,
On my 2006 GasGas EC300 i have a;
1- a dent on the outer tube that probably/possibly repairable
2- a nick on the inner tube that goes thru the coating but thats rpairable

I was thinking it might be cheaper to just buy some good used Inner and Outer Tubes and switch the guts.

These are the black outer tubes with the black coated inner tubes.

If you have anything please let me know what you have, cost, condition, location, etc.

Thanks

How deep is the nick on the lower tube? I repaired one that I filed the sharp edge off filled with pc7 or jbweld(cant remember which one)then wet sanded it, but it held and never leaked for the next year I owned the bike.

its not that bad
i have sanded it really smooth, up to 1000 grit
but i would like to get it 'right'
i dont have complaints with the zokes
my wallets kinda thin so that influences alot

i know what youre saying about filling it in
you dont want dirt going up or oil coming out

i appreciate the reply
thanks desertgasser300
