Cheapest to do the CR250 Rod kit as stated. The OEM rod is actually a Japanese Vesrah. Cranks should be the same over many years, but tolerances on the press fits have been an issue on some early bikes. I had a '00 with a loose fit I had the crank replaced under warranty, and a XC125 I had plasma sprayed and remachined. If your bearing fits are correct I would have the crank rebuilt.
