That looks like a nice area - not many trees?

Out for a race, or just ripping around the trails?

Keep 'em coming

Just a gentle trail ride . Hi everybody .

Barmouth in Wales on Saturday . More pics then !

Awesome shots, looks like a great area to ride!

That first incline reminds me of some of the stuff we hit in the coast range; your choice of loose rocks or steps up a steep hill...lol.

Really like that canyon shot - appears to go on for a long time.

Pushing your bike up the last part of a hill is always fun, at least it looks like he's still on the gas :D

Lookin' forward to the shots from Wales

Oh yeah, and welcome to the forum!

Wales!!!!

That looks to be proper trail riding too :D

What's with the guy and upside down pumpkin - fixing something, or did it end up like that after attempting those rocks...lol?

I don't envy anyone going up that stepped rocky section, looks frickin' tough.

You guys on a multi-day ride covering a bunch of areas?

I really want to get out and ride, the scenery is fantastic and it definitely looks like a great place to explore.

The fella with the upside down sheep is Andy Tandy (body builder who owns a couple of tanning salons) and he nearly fell down a big 8 foot drop . I didn't take the picture straight away as his bike had landed on his arm and trapped him , so I made sure that he was OK before said pic was taken . He is a good guy that moans only about road work . Fair play . That's him smashing through the water in one of the pics . Rubber Jonny and I ride some of the best trails the UK has to offer but are always looking for more .
We normally drive 3 hours each way to get to our destinations as most of us live near London and there as feck all to ride around our manor that is any good . Riding tokens have to be used wisely as we all have families so we make the most of it when we hit the dirt and ride as much as we can . Here's a few pics of The Peak District .....

The guy with the white helmet is Red Ed . Apparently he has an MBE for cycling and he won gold at the last olympics . His surname is Clancy . I thought he looked a bit lean . Nice bloke .

I have loads of these pics but that's enough for now . Don't get me started on Wales . Just one for now .........................

Saussies , anyone ?

Awesome shots guys; makes me want to jump on a plane and head over to check out those riding areas

As far as I am aware , in Southern Ireland there are no legal byways but if you know a nice farmer , he will let you ride on his land/mountains . Northern Ireland is a little different as it is part of the UK and has similar rules as the mainland . Not been there yet as I cannot justify going there on an expensive ferry to find good trails , especially with what South Wales has to offer . The Isle of Man was fun but I still think South Wales is pretty hardcore . Some great folks there as well . Just takes time
to make friends with them but they know we ride all over and would willingly show them around other places any time . You gets out what you puts in . Simple as that . Trials bikes Oop Narth on Sunday . Deffo post some pics .

Some excellent challenging terrain! Whereabouts in South Wales, it looks familiar ? I lived there for a while a near Cardiff.

Monmouthshire down to Cardiff and back . It gets really over grown in the Summer as most of these Green Lanes are single track .
