Hey Boomer,
There is a Texas gent who would like to sell me a 2011-vintage bike but he only has the MSO with him. BTW, we can't ride trails without a titled & registered bike, MC plate and associated OHV sticker.
What is the cost for this Texas resident to get the bike titled from the MSO? How long does it take? He says it will cost about $35 to get the bike titled in his name and it could take a couple-three weeks from the county office. In Arizona it would take five minutes but cost me about $600 in sales tax.
He wants to complete the deal while he is here in Arizona, give me the MSO and a bill of sale and he'll send me the title when he gets back next week.
This makes me very nervous.
I'd appreciate your opinions.
Rick
