It's almost time for this year's Wudi Ride. It's the 16th year for the ride.

This an annual "unorganized non-event" of trail and dual sport rides for anyone who wants to come to NW Arkansas and have a good time of riding dirt bikes and bench racing in the Ozark Mountains.

The only cost for the non-event is a campground access fee for the weekend, or extra if one wants to use one of the RV spots with water and electricity.

The dates of the Ride are actually April 3, 4, 5, & 6 (Thursday through Sunday), one week after the White Rock Mountain Enduro.

Come join us for the fun.

Good Riding,
Jim Cook

Latest Wudi 16 Update.
from jeb:

Hi Everyone,

Sure looking like a great Wudi this year! Only 3 weekends away. I'm excited about it. Lots of folks coming to enjoy our trails and, hopefully, or weather. Weather has been nice down here the last couple of weeks. We're getting some rain today, but it will not hurt a thing. It'll help, actually. I've been working trails every weekend for the last few weeks, and they are looking great. We walked several miles yesterday getting face slappers and kicking some of the rolling rocks off the trail.

Looks like we should have at least 15 guides this year, most of them Friday - Sunday. There will be several of us down there ready to guide on Thursday early, also. Some of the trails will be easier to find since the enduro is the weekend before, although we do have to pull the arrows before Wudi. But we're not using all the trails for the enduro, so guides will be able to help you find some of the good stuff. You do not have to ride with a guide, of course. But the single track can be hard to find and string together if you don't know the area.

Mike Taylor is going to guide dual sports again this year. I know that was a big hit last year, so many thanks to him for doing that. We may have one other person doing that as well, we'll see what the demand is. But Mike asked me to find out from the folks that rode with him last year if the loops he put together were about right in time and distance, or if folks would like him to change the way he did things. He said it would help him plan routes. Also, what days you'd like to ride DS will help him.

The 18 new water/elec pull through camp sites are done. Finishing spreading gravel on the last couple this week. So that should easily give everyone who wants an elec spot a place. But it is still first come, first served on the open spots. Sill plenty of room for dry camping also.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
