2001 SE 300 questions

Just picked up a 2001 300. I have a broken gear shift lever. What lever crosses over. The previous owner couldn't remember if it was a yz 250 or a cr 250.

Additionally where could I find an online manual for one of these? I tried the gas gas site and only went back to 2002.
