2005 EC250 Jetting

Thans Glenn. Trailtech advised they don't do flywheels for the gassers either. Don't really want to drop coins on a 2k2 from another bike without knowing if it'll work or not either..

When I first got this bike it had this set up;
N1EF #1
180
38
A/S ??

the bike didn't idle and there was no low/mid range, it was awful to ride.

now I am at;

N3EW #3
165
35
AS 2.5

This is the set up that has given me the best results to date, no bogging or signs of running lean anywhere, still got a crackle at 1/8 throttle but once I get past that its pretty awesome.

I will keep an eye on the plug next weekend, and will take my needles and jets with me. I am interested to try out different needles with these jets.

Jake,

I am 100% that the stator is the same. The backing plate is just slightly different, but my guess is it will fit and work. The flywheel is the question, whether or not the crank taper and key position is the same. I would think that they are, considering GGs lower volume. Beleive me I'm on this as soon as I can. Got a friend with a KTM? Compare flywheel fit and timing.

After many many changes I still can't get this bike to perform well at WOT.
I have a fairly good set up from idle to 3/4 throttle. WOT is ok if the revs are low to mid but once the revs get up high it starts to miss

N3EW #2
Pilot 35
A/S 2.5

I have kept this the same because it has given me the best results.

With this needle and pilot I went thru all these mains: 185. 180, 178, 175, 172, 170, 168, 165

with no great result, WOT is always a problem....sounds and feels like a rev limiter

There has to be another issue.....maybe electrical????
