2007 Ec 300 speedometer

So the digital gasgas original speedometer on my ec 300 has stoped working, it worked fine when i bought the bike in december but when spring arrived it dont show speed or rpm. All i did on it during winter was to change brake pads. Any idea on whats happend?

Check to see if it has an internal battery?

Do they work new? Never seen one that does.

Change the battery inside but dident help

It lightsup and i go thru modes but wont show speed or rpm
