2011 250 Six Days

48 rear. thanks for posting. This means there should be a 48 available soon from supersprox. In the past they have only had 49s.

Ironman...not rivited and just better imo

... and made in the US of A ... I've been running a 49t on my XC250 all year - should have gone to a 50t for the local trails in hindsight, but the sprocket held up great. I've got 50t an 52t in stock.

Boy , it sounds like there will be quite a few gassers at the VCHSS next year.
Thats Good news for gasgas .

Hey Daniel ,Be sure to post your impressions on the differences between the 250 & the 200 when you get a chance to spend some time on each.

Don't have the 2011 200 yet but I did spend some time on the '09 200 and I always wanted a little more power. Overall it was pretty good but there was always that obstacle that you need to get up and over or acceleration bumps that I would want to hop over and it was hard on the 200 for me at 175-180 pounds. Open stuff, where you can use the mid-range and top, is really fun on the 200 but I was wanting more in the slow stuff where I like to lug the bike and have that burst down low when you need it. So far, on the new 250, I haven't found any weaknesses. Very nimble, turns very quickly and the power is better than I expected coming off a 450. My Rekluse EXP clutch should be here any day and I can start getting it dialed in.

Yes please do Daniel. I am still trying to decide on which one to get. I need to get my hands on a 200 just to feel how light it is.

Ya Know. Now That I've been thinking about it. A racing 200 may be even better than the 250 for general trail riding and scramble work. Standard 250 or racing 200? I wounder how much more hit it has over the standard bike?
Do the 250 4t and the 2 strokes use the same air box? I find the new air box on the 250t really wide compared to my 2005 125. I'm a little knock kneed and it's a bit of an obstacle for me on the 250 4t that I rode.
