I looked at a 2011 xc-300 on Sat and must say I was impressed with the bike except for the fact they don't come with a odo/speedometer. anyone know what the factory unit would cost?. I guess a Trail tech would be a option. It is after all an enduro right?
Plus it was easier to cover up all that orange!!!!
I like that you park your bike in the "recreation" room.
I wanted to order a Vector the other day but I decided to do some more research first. Not trying to slam the guy that answered the phone at TT, but he didn't seem to be aware they had a product that plugs into the GG wire harness. Can you tell me which p/n you ordered? None of them list GG in the applications.
Also, which temperature sensor did you use? Can you post a pic of your installation of it?
Geez Troy did you even ride that thing...it's soooo clean.
They must of had a sale on Toothbrushes, ArmorAll and Autosol.
( I bet your Huskys aren't that clean...)
Is the black clamp on the inside of the left bar mount, the only mounting point? Any other pics of the actual mount?
Thanks for the pics Troy.
Does anyone know what the OE setup is for the temp sensor? I can't seem to locate it in the GG exploded parts manual.
Done that. His DIY is for earlier model years that do not have the OE thermostat. He used the TT sensor where the current OE thermostat is. I'm trying to keep the bike as close to OE as possible.
Yes I am Using the black one only
Trail Tech does give you a smaller Dia clamp as well to mount on a smaller bar or further outward if you wish...
I like having it where it is so I can rotate it if I need to see it in the sun..trail tech might have more options if you prefer it lower
It gets complicated if you desire it between the plate and the bars...very little room I dont think one would see it too well.....
Gas Gas must have a special fixture on the OE EC's to mount it and hold the plate further forward at the same time ????
here is rotated forward
Looks fab, I am in the process of installing one on my 2010. Sent to me from GG UK. The power wire is completely different, how did you wire your power in?
