2012 300 float height?

What is the float height supossed to be. I have seen 6mm to 20mm. Have not even looked yet but need to know to set correctly or at least cheek. Have her pretty lean and she is drinking fuel pretty good. Maybe normal? It is not puking fuel out the carb so I know it is not way to high.

What jetting are you running in yours? I have mine at 42p n3cj#3 175m

Tilt it over and see if fuel leaks on the ground and you should get 45 degrees of tilt. You want the seem of the float just off level with the carb mount face.

40 pilot jd needle red clip 3 and 170 main.
