Top: Brake pedal sits even with footpeg and has more room for adjustment. I don't think we will need to cut the rod anymore.
Center: It is possible to adjust shock pre-load without removing the shock.
Bottom: The rad shrouds do not have bolts holding them to the radiators. They use a plastic stud that fits into a rubber grommet. This is pretty cool. No more ripping the bolt through the rad shroud. Just pop it back in.

Top: Front Galfer wave rotor
Center: Welded on skid plate mounts. No more chasing that bar around to get the bolts started.
Bottom: Back of skid plate hooks on frame so no rear bolt to put in.

Top: skid plate attached.
Bottom: Inside of new clutch cover showing the "funnel" that is molded into the cover to transfer oil into center of clutch hub.

Top: New linkage
Center: Rear number plate removed.
Bottom: One bolt holds rear number plates on. Two tabs on each plate go into bodywork. to hold front of number plate on. Very clean!

Center: Side panels snap into grommets on radiator.
Bottom: Frame is made of wide flat tubing.

Looks great Clay.
Is there a lot of difference between the race and the standard from what is shown in the pics? eg. discs,shock etc?
I wonder whether the radiator braces will work with the plug in shrouds?

Wence,
I think there are differences in suspension (Sachs on standard) and discs GG discs rather than Galfer). It appears as if the radiators are the same so I think the braces will still work.

Is that the skid plate that you thought would come on the bike? I thought you said it would be the same as the nambotin or am I dreaming.

They told me that we would get the Nambotin skid plate if it would fit. The mounting points are different so it won't fit.

I said a lot of things that seemed to have changed since May of last year. As the bikes got later and our order got smaller, the motivation to give us specific requests diminished. Imagine that! Nambotin skid plate, special US graphics, new footpegs....... :D
Those are all minor details that I'm sure we will get next year. Overall.....I'm very happy with the bike!
 
Awesome looking bike and I just sold my 2010 GG 300 to make room for the 2012! Now if I could figure out which one :confused::D.
