I hope you have enough coming in to go around. I called my dealer today to get my place in line for a 300 e-start.

I think there are differences in suspension (Sachs on standard) and discs GG discs rather than Galfer). It appears as if the radiators are the same so I think the braces will still work.

Accessories fitment

Prior year skid plate fitment may be no problem with some simple adapter plates that span the frame tabs. The only issue then will be actual coverage of the frame. Will Gofasters get a bike soon? I'd like to see a Hyde combo at least temporarily fit to the bike, no problem for me fabing a mount system as the Hyde mounts suck anyway. For alloy stuff, Scorpion is working on it now.

Oh, and that steering head dia.?

I think you could simply drill some new holes that line up with the frame tabs.
GF prolly won't get a bike until April because almost every thing is sold.

I spoke to Mark. Since I will hopefully get my bike first, I will get a current Hyde and check fitment. If its possible, I'll identify mods required and report back of course. If it just won't work I'll return it unmolested, get a Scorpion and an alloy guard, and tie them together. Scorpion should do this.
 
The Hyde Combo's are sometimes tough to get to fit without the exact correct pipe but with some luck maybe even an older model Hyde Combo would fit. Each set of years had a small difference in the clearances depending on the mounting hardware and mounting points.
 
So does the key I saw hanging off the bars have to stay in the bike while riding or is it just for turning lights on/off.

And the biggest question, what is the latest real time eta for dealers to have 2012's?????

I would say the key is for the steering head lock.

Now, back to the other question (i can barely contain myself) "When are they going to be at dealers?????????"

You know, now that they are this long into the new year will the 13's only be 6 to 8 months away or is this the new begining of a model year actually coming out in the same actual year that it is dated?:eek:
