2012 dogs bone question

i am sevicing the linkage on my 2012 300 the dogs bones are raised on one side ,does this side face inwards towards the shock to allow more space for the shock ?

The GG logo should face outwards.

sorry i see now logos face outwards and the raised part is on the gas gas side
