2012 Info

I wanted to apologize for the lack of Owner's Manuals (actually CD's) on the 2012 models. We just heard from Gas Gas that they are about to ship to Go Fasters and Mark will ship those out to the dealers who got 2012 models as soon as he can. This will also include a larger skid plate.
I have been getting a few questions about 2012 suspension:
The compression adjustment on the fork is the screw (flat tip) on top. The phillips screw is an air bleed screw.
The rebound is on bottom. The Progressive Floating Piston (PFP) is the three sided star shaped adjuster at the top of the fork.
The compression adjustment on the shock is the screw (flat tip) on the top in the middle of the nut. The nut is not an adjustment. Unscrew it and you will loose the nitrogen. The rebound adjustment is the 3mm hex at the bottom of the shock.
Make sure your dealer has opened the vent hose on the shifter side power valve cover. It comes zip tied from the factory to keep spooge from dribbling in the crate during shipment.

Mark at Go Fasters has a ton of stuff on order for the '12s now. Some of it has come in and some of it due soon.

Does PG have the templates yet so we can order graphics/numbers?

Clay, got 3 hrs on it yesterday. The bike is freaking awesome. Nice improvement over the 11.

PG does not have the templates yet. We will send them a set of shrouds as soon as Mark's order comes in. Glad to hear you like the bike.

I told them I would send all my plastics on April 2nd if they don't have anything by then. I'm off to Europe for a few weeks and the bike is currently off getting custom radiator guards, battery box eliminator brace, frame guards and rear sharkfin.........

I'm not in a huge rush, but would like to get some numbers on the headlight and side plates.

Clay- On another thread you mentioned that GG expects to ship the next group of bikes on Mar. 21st.

What would be the approximate expected date they would show up at your warehouse, allowing time for customs etc.??

You can usually add 30 days to get to us from ship date.

I just finished my last race on the '05 DE250. I have to volunteer for my club's uber-technical Camp Wood Race from now until race day, April 15th.

After that, I look forward to the new arrival.
