2015 GASGAS ec300 starter question

I have a 2015 ec300 - The starter crapped out. Is the rotation clockwise or counter clockwise for starter ? Where would be a good place to order one ? Also is their a replacement for the the rear brake master cylinder ? I overhauled but still can not get to work.

Take the cover off. Mates one had worn an oval where the bevel gear ran.

Bored a hole and fitted a sleeve from bearing shop.

He then drilled a small hole and fitted a breather tube. Glued up the drain hole and put a few cc of trans oil in cover so it was always lubed.

I think he used a generic ktm starter but reversed polarity. Should be info to do that somewhere.
