2k4 ????

got a bud with a 07 ktm 250 2 smoke that he put a 2k4 stator on.. now he needs to sell the bike and is putting it back stock. any idea if the 2k4 stator will fit a gas gas ? just trying to get a real lamp on the 01.. he says the stator will, but the flywheel wont.. any thoughts ?

Call TrailTech. When we did the 24hr race in Alabama, they set us up with the KTM stator etc.
I think we were only able to use two mounting screws on the stator plate and had to grind a mounting boss a little to get the timing advance where we needed it.

2K-4? The stator plates for the 2K-2s are almost the same, so I don't see a big problem. Bigger issue might be crank taper and keyway position differences between the GG and KTM, easy to check.
