Hi,
i just bought 02 fse400 and it wont tick over properly. It seems fine from cold start for about 30 seconds and then it starts stalling. Everything is fine if i hold higher rpm.
Water and intake temp sensors are fine. Anyone have idea what to look for?
I uploaded video to show how it is acting:

Thanks for any help

Yes there is. It is located on the throttle housing. It is just a Square button that holds the throttle slightly open.

This is throttle assembly on my bike and there is no choke.
I managed to heat the engine to operating temp and it still stalls at idle.
Maybe there is cheaper software than VDSTS? It would be more economical to put keihin fcr than buy software for 229$

Hey mate, I saw your post and thought it's about time I made my recent discovery/venture into ECU programming and modifying known to our community. Please have a look at my latest thread Here to see what I've done with the help of a MotoGuzzi forum and a independent developer.

Basically I have talked to the dev and we've both got the GasGas FSE450 working on the program he wrote and with a bit of input from the community we can get a whole host of other bikes working on it too! The best part is it's all FREE ;)

Happy new year everyone.
Santa gave me kinda great present, it turns out that i have 450 engine in my bike.
But now i dont know if efi is from 400 or 450 as this might be my problem.
Any ideas how can i identify them?
Also can i write 450 map to 400 ecu?

Good to hear

and yes, you can write a 450 map to a 400 ecu. But for what it's worth I have a *400* ecu too. Specifically a IAW15P.L0 GasGas 400 FSE. If you have a look in the other thread you'll be able to find the cable you need and the software too. With any luck you will be able to adjust the idle mixture as needed :)
