I can relate, after riding and racing a YZ426, WR250F and a WR450F, I went back to mixing gas. As long as they make a two banger, I'm confident I'll be riding one.

I'd bet he did as well as he did in those races because he wasn't rag-doll tired from getting dragged around by a big thumper all day.

That artical hit home.
I had been searching craigslist for a cheap 250-F to race MX once a month.
But due to the econemy I decided I'm just going to re-work the suspension on my 08 EC 300 and race that in the vet class.
I'm on a mission to simplify my life...one bike, one vehicle...and keep it as cheap and simple as possible.
I dumped all my money pits except one.
